Thermal Protection Ballast Heating Test Chamber

This equipment features a thermal-protection ballast heating test chamber; lighting fixture testing standard (GB/IEC compliant). I) **Scope of Application**: Tests designed to prevent overheating of the control device in heat-protected lamps under all conditions. II) **Compliance Standards**: Meets the requirements specified in Appendix D.1 of GB 19510.1-2004 / IEC 61347-1:2003. III) **Test Procedure**: As per standard specifications, four 300W heating plates measuring 40 x 300 mm are arranged beneath a 560 x 560 x 25 mm insulating panel. The system is then heated, and a temperature controller maintains the internal chamber temperature at 40 ± 5°C, ensuring precise control over the heating duration.

Product Description

This equipment features a thermal protection-type ballast heating test chamber; Lamp Testing Standards (GB/IEC Standards)

1) Scope of Application: Testing to prevent overheating of the thermal protection lamp control device under all conditions.

2) Compliance Standard: Meets the requirements of Appendix D.1 of GB19510.1-2004/IEC61347-1:2003.

3) Test Method: Arrange four 40 × 300 mm heating plates, each with a power of 300 W, according to standard requirements beneath a 560 × 560 × 25 mm thermal insulation board. Heat the setup, then use a thermostat to maintain the temperature inside the protection box at 40 ± 5°C, while ensuring precise control over the heating duration.

4) Construction Overview

The test chamber consists of two parts: a control box and a heating chamber.

1) On the stainless steel panel of the control box:

Temperature display, timing, power, heating, testing, and workstation buttons.

The interior of the test chamber consists of a heating plate, high-temperature-resistant asbestos board, a wind shield, shelving units, and thermocouples, as shown in the figure below:

5) Installation Instructions and Precautions
