- Specimen Installation: Secure the foot warmer to the support platform and place the leg region on a 300×150×20 mm glued laminated timber board with rounded edges.
- Load setup: A wooden board, a movable support, and the load have a total mass of 30 kg. The wooden board is allowed to fall freely from a height of 200 mm above the base, causing the leg area of the foot warmer to bend and compressing the device between the wooden board and the supporting surface.
- Cyclic testing: Perform 1,000 bending cycles at a rate of 6 cycles per minute; for leg-area foot warmers, test only the upper surface.
- Result determination: After testing, inspect the structure for fractures or deformations, and check the electrical system for faults such as short circuits or leakage.
