New energy vehicle charging simulation aging cabinet

Please ensure whether the charging gun being tested is single-phase or three-phase electricity. Then, on the aging cabinet panel, as shown in Figure 2 (11), use the single-phase/three-phase switch to select. Turn to single-phase for single-phase electricity and to three-phase for three-phase electricity.

Instructions for use

  1. Please determine whether the charging gun to be tested is single-phase or three-phase, and then switch the single-phase/three-phase selection switch on the aging cabinet panel as shown in Figure 2 (11). Turn to single-phase for single-phase electricity and three-phase for three-phase electricity.
  2. Connect the lines according to the charging gun sample to be measured, and set the current size for charging test through the control box of the charging gun to be measured, such as: 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 32A, etc.
  3. Do not power on the aging cabinet. First check whether the L1, L2, and L3 switch circuit breakers on the aging cabinet are in the off state (the switch handle is down for the off state). If not, please turn them all off.
  4. Connect the aging cabinet power input. At this time, you can see the indicator light on the aging cabinet panel is on, and the reading at the “CP frequency display” shows five bars “-” and then turn on the fan power switch.
  5. Start combining and flipping the switch according to the set current.
  6. Plug in the charging gun to be measured. In the first 3 seconds, the reading at the “CP frequency display” on the panel is about the CC signal identification. If it is a national standard or European standard, the digital tube above will display the word “CC”, and the digital tube below will display the cable rated current. Please observe whether the reading is consistent with the current marked on the cable. If it is inconsistent, it indicates a CC resistance failure (to be continued).
If it is the American standard, the digital tube above will display the word “CC”, and the digital tube below will display “USA” (to be continued).
After 3 seconds, the parameters of the CP signal will be displayed. The upper digital tube displays the frequency, and the lower digital tube displays the protocol current.
Observation: Whether the current indicated on the CP signal panel is the same as the current set by the control box of the charging gun to be measured. Generally, ±2A is considered normal.
  7. The aging cabinet will automatically determine the frequency, voltage, and duty cycle (converted into protocol current) of the CP signal. If any of them are unqualified, the buzzer alarm will keep ringing.
And display the unqualified value in a flashing manner on the digital tube. If the frequency is unqualified, the frequency will be displayed on the upper digital tube, and if the voltage is unqualified, the voltage will be displayed on the lower digital tube.
(This is to test whether the CP signal of the charging gun to be measured communicating with the car is normal). If the protocol current converted from the CP signal duty cycle is not within the set range, the lower digital tube will display the CP signal duty cycle, and the buzzer will keep ringing at this time. See the above CC signal identification. If the cable rated current corresponding to the CC resistance is less than the protocol current of the CP signal or the CC resistance is incorrect, the three-digit digital tube below will display three bars “---”, and the buzzer will keep ringing at this time.
  8. Turn on the CP signal selection switch of the aging cabinet in Figure 2 (12), and the charging gun to be measured will display that charging has started. At this time, turn on the load switch and read the current, voltage, power and other parameters displayed by the charging gun to be measured and compare them with the parameters of the aging cabinet instrument to see if they are consistent. Generally, an error of ±10% is considered normal.
(Please note: You only need to compare the meter reading of the aging cabinet with the reading of the charging gun to be measured, because the final current of the aging cabinet is determined by the combination switch and the input voltage).
  9. After the aging time is over, first turn off the load switch of the aging cabinet panel in Figure 2 (4), and then pull down the CP signal. At this time, the corresponding meter voltage, current, and power display on the aging cabinet will be 0 or off, and the charging gun to be measured will display that charging is complete, which is normal. Then, unplug the charging gun and turn off the fan switch after 5 minutes. When not in use, unplug the aging cabinet power supply.
