Product Description
I. Product Overview
Parts made of insulating materials or other solid combustible materials inside the device that easily spread flames may be ignited by a hot wire or hot element. Under certain conditions, such as fault currents flowing through wires, component overloads, and poor contacts, some components may reach a temperature that ignites nearby parts.
The glow wire testing machine uses simulation technology to evaluate the ignition risk caused by heat sources such as glow elements or overload resistors in a short time. It is suitable for electrical and electronic equipment and their components and parts, and also for solid electrical insulation materials or other solid combustible materials.
II. Reference Standards
Glow wire testing machine reference standard: GB/T5169.10, IEC60695
III. Test Principle
Use a glow wire test with a non-flame ignition source (the glow wire is a standard resistance wire loop). It is electrically heated to a specified temperature, and then the glow wire is brought into contact with the test sample under test conditions.
IV. Main Technical Parameters
1. Internal volume of the box: 0.5m3, depth*width*height: 600mm*950mm*900mm;
2. The temperature of the glow wire is adjustable in the range of 100℃~1000℃;
3. Temperature measuring device: thermocouple with a diameter of 1.0mm;
4. Glow wire: a loop made of nickel/chromium wire with a diameter of 4.0mm;
5. Heating current: the current is between 120A~150A when the temperature is 960℃;
6. Force applied to the test: 0.95N, and limit the indentation depth to at least 7mm;
7. Timer for ignition time (Ti) and extinguishing time (Te): adjustable within the range of 0~99.99s;
8. Overall dimensions: L1150 mm×W600 mm×H1340mm (including caster height);
9. Working voltage: AC220V±10V/50HZ Total power: 500W;
